My Hubby’s Bro’s Wife Is Having A Baby Around Mid Nov. Is This The Right Time To Send Him A Gift. Plz Advice?
The doc told them mid Nov and they are having a girl. I have thought abt sending a baby gift basket online (any other suggestions or links welcome abt gift ideas)
Is this a good time to send them the gift or should we wait till a couple of days before or after the baby’s arrival. I think once the baby is born everyone will be so engrossed, busy and excited, they might not pay attention to our gift, before would make them look.

I got them at the hospital so I was able to share with my visitors and it was a nice tasty treat aside from the lovely hospital food!
I got tons of clothes… Some he wore, some he didn’t. They both would really enjoy something they can eat! You can have it delivered that day! Or when they get home send it to the house so they could have something to offer their visitors at home too.
I think it’s a great idea to send it now. Getting things in the mail is always fun, and it’s especially fun to just stare at all the baby stuff before your little one arrives. You’re also right about it being busy when the baby comes. I’m sure they won’t overlook the gift, I’m just saying it’s really fun to get stuff before the big haul comes.
Now, when they are preparing for baby would be the time because they are getting everything the way they want it for the big event. Afterwards it might get ignored and by thetime they get to it may no longer be useful.
